Schools in Sindh will be closed tomorrow because the weather might be bad. The Pakistan Meteorological Department says there could be rain.

The schools in Sindh will remain closed tomorrow

Due to the possibility of heavy rainfall, the Sindh government has decided to close all schools in the province tomorrow, Friday. This decision comes because the weather forecast predicts bad weather, including rain, windstorms, and even possible hailstorms from February 29 to March 2.

The Sindh School Education and Literacy Department has officially announced the cancellation of all evening classes in both public and private schools. This step is taken to ensure the safety of students and staff considering the expected adverse weather conditions.

Alongside school closures, the Sindh government has declared a rain emergency across the province. Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab Siddiqui emphasized the importance of taking precautionary measures and stated that offices in Karachi would only operate for half a day on Friday to reduce risks and inconvenience to citizens.

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah led a meeting to address the upcoming weather challenges and activated a comprehensive rain emergency plan. Local authorities, administrations, and hospitals have been put on high alert to respond promptly to any emergencies.
